Ministry Needs List:
Hey friends,
As ministry grows
and evolves, sometimes there are needs that arise. I'd love to have you partner with me to help us reach some of these needs. Below, I’m including various
needs that my ministries have or supplies that could be very helpful to us.
If you have any questions about the needs
below, feel free to contact me.
1. Portable Speaker (Behringer Europort MPA 40BT-PRO): Included in Amazon link

a.
Besides
the church service, our youth group is looking to do more outreach events and
we would utilize this speaker for those events. Whether that be movie nights,
soccer matches, concerts…
2. Pool
(see Amazon link). Baptisms can be a
complicated thing to organize here. If you’ve traveled to our community, you
know that the beachfront isn’t necessarily the cleanest spot. If there’s bad
weather, high tide, the river is dirty, or the ocean is rough, baptizes can’t
happen and the people have to wait. Sometimes, the church has to wait a few
months and have a large group get baptized together so it is more logistically
feasible. By having a pool, they could do the baptisms at the church. We would also use this for when Pastor St.
Verty does baptisms at the prison.

3. Youth
group functions: $200
a.
The
youth group is planning to host a big Christmas function during the week that
school is on vacation. They are planning to have a week of worship services
leading up to Christmas. The costs would be for the guest speaker, materials
needed for the services, drinks and snacks to serve those who attend.
b. They have also planned a few outreach events over the next two months and are looking forward to being able to reach their peers.
4. Prison
ministry expenses/supplies:
a.
Every
Thursday, I travel to the prison to do Bible study with the women, men, and
teenagers that are incarcerated. The
prison is a rough place, with insufficient resources to handle the amount of
people they house. From time to time, we
try to bless the prisoners with soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, or other
hygiene products. They do not receive anything besides one meal a day. We also try to insure that they have access to the gospel in
each cell. Two years ago, we bought
every prisoner a new Bible. But with the turnover, many of those with Bibles
have left. We’d love to be able to purchase song books and Bibles so that each
cell has a copy and can continue to do their Bible study/devotion times.
If you would like
to purchase an item or help contribute, you can donate online at nwhcm.org. Please
note Caitlin Smith and whichever ministry you want to contribute towards.
