I'm Here!

I arrived at the mission on Friday with the rest of the interns. It has been so nice to see old friends. We have been training and just spending time with the Haitians and community. We went to the brothel and jail to visit today. Afterwards, we delivered groceries to a family and spent time encouraging them in their faith. I have loved being able to continue relationships with dear friends. Gislene, a cook, is seven months pregnant so I'm hoping she will deliver during the few weeks I'm on this campus. We just started intern "survivor" which will run all summer. Our tribe won the first competition and won a tent for our "campsite".
