Community

This week, I got to witness an incredible sense of community lived out. One of the brothel girls sons, Daylins, ended up sick in the hospital. The other women surrounded her with love and support. They took turns looking after her other children. They took shifts staying at the hospital with Daylins. They prepared food with what they had for her. Last Friday, she couldn't make it to put together her jewelry. The other women made her piece for her and took her the money so she could pay for the medical care. It was amazing to watch the gospel lived out and they didn't even know it. They were an encouragement of having hope in the deepest despair. They saw a need greater than themselves and they worked together. It was incredible to watch how they lived out community without really knowing. I love the way that God is moving and working in gentle ways to transform those women.
