Ebeneezer

In the Old Testament, it talks about how they built ebeneezers to remember those mountains that God helped them climb or milestones in their relationship with God. I feel like Haiti in general is an ebeneezer for me. God does things in crazy ways and uses the strangest people or things to change us. There are specific moments here I can say are hurdles or milestones that have been climbed.

Today, I went to the soccer field and we played with the kids. So much fun but so tiring. We had the unfortunate reminder of what it means to live in an undeveloped country. Bena, one of our security guards, wife passed away. I'm not sure why or if anyone does but it sucks that this is the reality for them.
