Day 2

Today was physically exhausting. We spent over seven hours traveling on the back of a tap tap (a tiny pickup truck with 2x4 to sit on). Needless to say, all of our butts are beyond sore. It's been raining alot here so the river was super high and the "roads" were almost impossible to drive on. We got stuck and had to walk down the mountain, through the river, and back up the mountain to get to the big orphanage. They made us Haitian spaghetti (the sauce is ketchup and mayo). The kids were so happy to see us. They were in their prayer service when we arrived so we got to experience that. It was amazing. Almost 200 hundred people (mostly kids), were packed into this tiny room all praying their hearts out. Then we went to see the new structures at the Beauchamp. Alot has changed and it's grown a ton. It was raining the entire day; however, we all still got crazy burnt.

We are hiking to the waterfall tomorrow. It's in town but about a two hour hike both ways.
