First summer group

Sorry for the lack of posts, I've been gone to the Far West for the past three days. We left early on Friday and headed to Beauchamp. In Beauchamp, we bought 90 goats and 50 chickens for the team to give to different communities.  We gave them out to people that the pastor had designated in the community. Saturday, there was a wedding in La Plaine. It was so fun to be apart of. The ceremony began with a marching band, who did this crazy dance routine. They were so great to watch.  After the wedding, I got to hang out with some of the community kids. They were such a joyful bunch.

Today, we went to the orphanage for church. The church is a dirt floor and broken benches, but that didn't stop them from worshiping. I really liked being able to spend time with all the kids.  They are so funny and they just want to love you so much. Those kids value their sponsors and cling to those relationships. If you don't have a sponsor kid, it such a great way to form a relationship and to evoke change into a hurting world.
