Heavy Hearts

Cholera has flared up really badly again in this region. Our town hasn't been hit yet, but it is coming. The clinic currently has 16, a big jump from a few days ago. Several of them are young children under 5 years old and there is a whole family in there together. If you've read before, you have likely read about House of Hope, a malnourished and TB clinic in La Pointe. It is a town about 30 minutes from here. Somehow their water got contaminated. One day the hospital there had 300 patients. They had 20 die that night, only to get 100 more patients that night. It has been a rough few days for them.

Please join us in praying for our Haitian family. Cholera is such an easy fix, but it's heartbreaking. They loose all dignity, it's uncontrollable. Keep them in your prayers as we all continue to trust that God is the ultimate healer and that he has a plan for this whole situation.
