Haiti changes things

We've had the opportunity to just get plugged into the ministries we are most interested in and to just spend time serving together. We have become a really close group of friends and I'm so thankful for that. For some reason, vulnerability is so much easier in Haiti. No one really wants to open up and reveal your deepest struggles or deepest wounds. Today, we were painting and just talking about our life stories and our struggles. It's crazy how all of our stories meet up at some point. We've been really helping each other heal from the past wounds or scars that hinder us from being our full potential. God works in amazing and unseen ways.

We have been pushing each other and stretching each other in order for us all to grow. Haiti makes you grow whether you want to or not. You cannot possibly come here and stay in the same place you were with God. Some people get frustrated with God; yet, others see the joy and just want to search God to find it.
